NEW: Troubleshooting CallPilot Welcome Calls Launching in the Wrong Language

Why a CallPilot welcome-call survey can launch in the wrong language even when the correct language is set in Enerflo, and how to get it corrected.

Written by Emilie

Occasionally a CallPilot welcome call survey will launch in the wrong language for a homeowner — for example, in English for a lead who selected Spanish, or vice versa. This article explains where survey language actually comes from and what to check before assuming it's an Enerflo bug.

Where survey language comes from

The Language field saved on the deal or contact in Enerflo is passed to CallPilot when the welcome call is created. However, CallPilot maintains its own survey configuration on their side, including which specific survey ID gets launched for a given call. In most cases where the correct language is set in Enerflo but the call still launches in the wrong language, the mismatch is happening in CallPilot's own survey-ID selection — not in the data Enerflo sent.

What to check first

  1. Open the deal and confirm the Language field is set correctly (e.g. Spanish for a Puerto Rico or Spanish-speaking lead).

  2. If it's already correct, generate a fresh CallPilot link (see How to Share the CallPilot Welcome Call Link with a Homeowner) and confirm the new link still launches in the wrong language.

  3. Note whether this is happening for a single lead or across multiple leads in the same state/region — this helps distinguish a one-off from a systemic CallPilot-side configuration issue.

💡 This is a CallPilot (vendor) setting, not an Enerflo bug. Enerflo passes the language on the deal to CallPilot correctly; which survey CallPilot actually launches is controlled entirely on CallPilot's side. If the Enerflo-side language is confirmed correct, the fix has to happen in CallPilot's survey configuration.

Troubleshooting

If the Language field in Enerflo is already correct and the survey still launches in the wrong language:

  1. Contact CallPilot support directly and ask them to confirm which survey ID is mapped to this account/region for the affected language.

  2. If CallPilot confirms their survey mapping is correct and the issue persists, contact Enerflo Support with the deal link and the language CallPilot confirmed so we can check what value is being sent.
