Error: "Latitude and longitude are required for this action"

What the "Error Calculating Savings" message means when a deal is missing valid coordinates, and how to fix it.

Written by Enerflo Support

You may see this error when Enerflo tries to calculate savings or production for a deal:

Error Calculating Savings

Latitude and longitude are required for this action. Please verify that your project address's coordinates are accurate in the Deal Details.

Why it happens

Savings and production calculations need the property's exact location. This error appears when the deal's latitude and longitude are missing or invalid, most often when they're set to 0, 0.

You'll typically see it when:

  • Selecting a finance method that calculates customer savings

  • Using a non-integrated (manual) design that uses PVWatts to estimate production

How to fix it

  1. Open the deal and go to Deal Details.

  2. Confirm the project address is correct and the map pin is on the right property.

  3. If the pin is missing or in the wrong place, adjust it or enter the latitude and longitude directly. See How to Adjust Customer Location for step-by-step instructions.

  4. Save, then return to the proposal or design and try again.

If the address won't verify on the map, see Troubleshooting Google Map Location Verification.
