Error: "Something Has Gone Wrong" Clicking Design Mode (Aurora)

How to troubleshoot the "Something has gone wrong" error that appears when clicking Design Mode on an Aurora design.

Written by Emilie

When clicking the orange Design Mode button on an Aurora design, you may see a "Something has gone wrong" error instead of being taken into Aurora. This error can have three different causes — work through them in order.

1. Missing Aurora Login Email in Your Integration Settings

Go to your profile (top right) > Edit My Profile > V2 User Profile > Integrations, and confirm your Aurora login email is entered and correct. See Software Integrations (Design, Finance) Login Credentials Management for full steps.

2. The Design Isn't Assigned to You Inside Aurora

Even with the correct login email saved, Aurora also tracks design-level permissions on its own side. An Aurora admin needs to assign the design to you directly inside Aurora — this isn't something Enerflo or Enerflo Support can do.

3. An Open Aurora Session Elsewhere Is Conflicting

Log out of all other Aurora sessions before clicking Design Mode again.

Note: If you've confirmed all three of the above and still see the error, contact Enerflo Support with the deal name and the exact error text.
